Circuit of the Americas Racetrack

Recently, Architectural Tile & Stone was invited to tour the new Circuit of the Americas racetrack that is being finished up for the first Formula One racing to take place in the United States.

Juan Miro and Miguel Rivera of Miro Rivera Architects (who were responsible for much of the design) showed around us the unbelievable facility, and we watched racecar legend Mario Andretti try out the super-fast track. The flag will drop for the track’s opening race, the US Grand Prix, on November 18.

Architectural Tile & Stone have been very fortunate to have had a long standing relationship with this incredibly talented firm!

AT&S Stone in Modern Luxury Interiors – Texas

The home is a remarkable compilation of His & Hers… from his desire for minimalism and pure functionality to her love of neoclassical design and fashion… it is a significant architectural feat, and is featured in Modern Luxury Interiors – Texas edition magazine for Spring of 2012.

Designed by Paul Lamb Architects and built by Don Crowell Builders with Clayton Morgan as Interior Designer, the home also features two noteworthy bathrooms: powerful black marble in his and stunning white in hers. Architectural Tile & Stone was pleased to be part of this dramatic assemblage.

Serpentine Curves in Natural Quartzite

, ,

A proud group of fabricators showing off their latest masterpiece, a serpentine shaped island out of beautiful, natural quartzite stone. To create the masterwork, we first digitized the 3 individual shapes that make up the island. We then photographed the slabs and merged the shapes or templates where they would look best on the stone.

This is a special Park Industries system called the Pathfinder, which gives us the capability to digitally lay out your project before the stone is cut. This system is especially useful with multiple seams when the length requires several slabs.

Imagine graceful curves of solid stone slabs in your own home or business application!
